The mummy from Viterbo

It was 1720. In a crypt of Viterbo cemetery (Italy) they found the mummified corpse of a monk with some documents written on a papyrus in his hand. It was impossible to identify the religious, but the parchment was sent to Pope Clemente XI. The prophet had foreseen the American Wars between 1760 and 1780 (America ardebit), the French Revolution of 1789, the Independence Wars in Italy and the Second World War.

The Black Spider, Schwarze Spinne, a monk who lived in Bavaria in 16th century and used to draw a little spider on the sheet of paper where he wrote his prophecies, foresaw even the end of Hitler,”ravenous wolf” who would die under the ruins of his own den. As for the end of the world, he quoted 2000 as the beginning of the hasty and headlong run toward the abyss.
